Discovery NotesBacteriophage was collected from soil by a large man-made lake approximately 10 feet from the shore from surrounding damp vegetation. Collection was performed on the 1 September at 10:47 AM in the left division Freeman Lake. Temperature of day of collection was 79 degrees Fahrenheit.
Naming NotesGreek mythological figure. The phage had some contradictory characteristics. While the plaques were turbid, they had a relatively short incubation time.
