| Discovery Notes | The soil sample was collected from the shoreline of Pavilion Lake, about 2 inches below the surface, at around 12:00 pm on September 1, 2023. The soil itself had been very moist, and had a potent odor as well. |
| Naming Notes | I chose the name "Choomba" after naming a gerbil at PetSmart that I liked, but did not end up taking home, so I now have a pet bacteriophage instead. |

| Plaque Notes | Plaques continuously show two different morphologies, primarily with size. It has been a constant observation to see a large plaque, along with a smaller sized plaque beside it. These two types were seen scattered along the plates throughout various purification steps. Moreover, plaques are constantly seen with a pale dot in the center. |
