Discovery NotesChotacabras was isolated from the soil of a flowerbed located outside of the community health center in Las Gavetas Nicaragua. The soil was damp and fertile. A ziplock bag full was isolated and frozen for 6 months until an enrichment was performed and phage was isolated.
