Lysogeny NotesOver the course of seven days, lysogeny was assessed by performing consecutive spot assays and monitoring for the development of turbid growth or survivor colonies within the clearance zones. At no point during the observation period did any potential lysogens emerge, nor did we observe signs of reduced lysis indicative of lysogenic conversion. Based on these results, CocaCola appears to behave as a virulent phage.
