Discovery NotesSamples were taken from damp soil (due to rain from the previous night) found under many dead and possibly decaying poison ivy leaves.
Naming NotesThe phage was named after the synthesis of the word "coffee bean" due to its capsid protein appearance. When observing the phage using a TEM, the heads appeared slightly deflated and more oblong, giving it the look of a coffee bean.
