Naming NotesThe Tannin is Hebrew mythology is a serpent beast. God strikes down this beast in the book of revelation. God also calls the Tannin a beautiful work of his creation. Though the Tannin is deemed beautiful God says that whoever touches it may lose a hand. This reminded me of bacteriophages. People view viruses as scary and destructive (especially in light of the pandemic). Though some viruses may cause you to 'lose your hand' bacteriophages can be used for good.
