Discovery NotesThe sample was collected by Kayleigh Morgan Profumo in Bowling Green outside of Snell Hall at Western Kentucky University on September 9, 2014. The sample was 3 inches deep into soil underneath a mulch beneath a rose bush.
Naming NotesI named this phage Coyote after the tricksters in Native American mythology because of its odd morphology and my difficulty isolating it.
