| Discovery Notes | The sample was collected on August 31 at 8:47 in the morning. The site where the virus was obtained smelled strongly of animal feces and death. The area was littered with tons of maggots and flies. |
| Naming Notes | I decided to name my phage Deban after my mother and sister. I combined their names: Megan and Deborah to get Deban. I chose to name my phage after them because I look up to the two as the strong women they are. I also would not be the person I am today without either of them. |
