Discovery NotesThe sample was collected on August 31 at 8:47 in the morning. The site where the virus was obtained smelled strongly of animal feces and death. The area was littered with tons of maggots and flies.
Naming NotesI decided to name my phage Deban after my mother and sister. I combined their names: Megan and Deborah to get Deban. I chose to name my phage after them because I look up to the two as the strong women they are. I also would not be the person I am today without either of them.
