Discovery Notes | Samantha dug about 2 inches deep. The soil was dark and rich and contained some grass. It was dug up from the area around Galbraith Hall at UC San Diego near a sewer drain. |
Naming Notes | The smell of Streptomyces platensis bacteria made our lab group nauseous and slightly delirious, so we named our phage Delirious. |
