Naming Notes | This phage earned its moniker from a novel I read at the time of discovery by the late Wilbur Smith titled Pharaoh. A minor supporting character is named Doog, who is a torturer for the illegitimate pharaoh and explains how his name is "good" spelled backwards because he is not a good person. |
