| Discovery Notes | Soil was collected from the area immediately adjacent to the base of a tree in a bare section. The area was shaded, located immediately off Facilities Management Road on the Emory University campus. The soil was dry, crumbly, and sandy. No plant growth (with the exception of the tree) was present. Obtained homogeneity in stock after 5 rounds of purification. |

| Plaque Notes | Plaque morphology is hazy, circular, small (approximately 1mm) in diameter, no bullseye, no halo. Plated on double-layer plates made with 25ul host bacteria Arthrobacter globiformus B-2979, 2 mL phage buffer, 2mL top agar 2%. Incubated at 22ºC for 24 hours. Plaques ranged in diameter from .05mm to 2mm, with a mean of approximately 1mm. |
