Discovery NotesSoil was collected from the area immediately adjacent to the base of a tree in a bare section. The area was shaded, located immediately off Facilities Management Road on the Emory University campus. The soil was dry, crumbly, and sandy. No plant growth (with the exception of the tree) was present. Obtained homogeneity in stock after 5 rounds of purification.
