Discovery NotesThis phage was adopted by us from Gillian Black and Vincent Zecchino. We had performed 5-6 enriched and direct isolation's on our own by were unable to isolate a phage. Therefore, we adopted a phage in the beginning and performed all of the necessary protocols needed for isolation and imaging.
Naming NotesOur phage's name, EmrayI is a combination of both of our first names, and the roman numeral I, which signifies that it is the first of its kind.
