Discovery NotesPhage was adopted after the direct and enrichment isolation processes. Adopted plaque was used to conduct a plaque assay. A plaque was then "picked" to eventually produce a webbed plate (at 10^-2) dilution that was flooded, collected lysate from it and used to calculate a titer of 1.0 x 10^8 (high enough titer to conduct EM).
Naming NotesThe name of the phage was inspired by an end of this A term at WPI and a transition into B term. It should be interpreted as a turn to new beginnings, a new chapter.
