Naming Notes | This phage is named after the iconic catch phrase of comic book creator, Stan Lee. The word “excelsior” is Latin for “ever upwards”. I chose this name in dedication to my dad, who has always supported me in my journey of higher education and scientific study. I would not be where I am today without him. Excelsior! |
