Discovery NotesI found this phage in the parking lot of Calvin's nature preserve. The soil was slightly dry and had some woodchips in it. Organic material was not abundant; however, it had enough nutrients to support the growth of some plants.
Naming NotesI chose the name Excresco because it means 'to grow' in Latin. Throughout the semester, I not only grew in my knowledge but also in my love for my phage.
