Discovery Notes | This Phage was found on 9/5/15. I collected my soil sample from a flower bed in Milwaukee,WI over Labor Day weekend. The soil sample was transported back to Atlanta,GA via airplane. Using cluster specific PCR primers indicated that Ezembofyte is in cluster G. |
Naming Notes | I chose Ezembo because my last name is Ezemba and I wanted my name associated with my phage. I chose the ending fyte because it sounded scientific. |
