Discovery NotesCollected from a house plant present in my dorm (snake plant). the soil was moist, fertile, and at room temperature. The soil was potting soil; it was moist and fertile, with white pellet spots (nutrient) on top of the soil. The outside temp that day was approximately 75 degrees Fahrenheit (23.9 degrees Celcius).
Naming NotesI named this phage FeDhi partly because of my little brother. it's a nickname derived from his actual name 'Fedhesa' that my family still calls him. In Afan Oromo, it means "longing" or "wanting" and at the time I named my phage, the first round of my TEM pictures weren't successful so in a way I was "longing" for it to work the second time around. I also thought it would be cool to call it something that is a part of my Oromo/Ethiopian heritage and have it be connected to my family as well.

Plaque NotesWell-defined round appearance mostly cleared on the spot plate. But as the dilution series went on, it was relevant that the plates weren't cleared anymore, some of the plates had a cloudy surface on the plaques but the shape stayed around the whole time
