Discovery NotesThis phage was found on 9/16/25 at 1:10 pm . It was slightly dried out as it was collected at a compost center on a sunny afternoon, but the bottom of the soil was more damp.
Naming NotesThis phage was found in the soil in a flower pot located at Hope College's Compost Center; therefore it was named Florapot.

Plaque NotesAfter 48 hours incubation at 34°C, three different plaque morphologies were identified. The first had a 3mm diameter with a slightly turbid ring and a clear center. The second had a 1mm diameter with a more turbid ring. The third had a 0.5mm diameter with an extremely turbid ring.
