Discovery NotesThe soil around the river was muddy with a lot of debris of moss and leaves. While it was muddle it was a hater mud rather than a liquid mud. This is most likely due to the time of year and wether. It was early September that the sample was taken during a heat wave for Spokane, the city of collection.
Naming NotesThe name Florida actually comes from the musical artist Flo Rida. This name was picked for the phage due to the “Flo” that was accusing from the water at the river during the original collection. The connection to the artist comes from the mutual ability between Flo Rida and the phage to impact the things it is around.
