Discovery NotesThe sample was taken from soil that surrounded a drainage pipe that fed into a creek. The soil taken was moist on the side banks and from the junction of the pipe and creek. There were several insects and frogs nearby.
Naming NotesThe name comes from the fact that when the sample was collected a frog jumped from the grasses by the bank into the shallow water of the creek.
