| Discovery Notes | This phage was found in a flower bed outside of the Korman Center at Drexel University. The soil that contained this phage was extracted 3 inches deep from the surface. A lot of weeds, flowers, and trees surrounded the area where this phage was discovered. |
| Naming Notes | The name, FunFetti, refers to the Pillsbury baking brand's cake and cupcake recipe that is sold in grocery stores as a boxed cake mix. The cake itself is a vanilla cake base with rainbow sprinkles, and this reminded me of how plaques look on an agar plate at the conclusion of serial dilutions. |
