Discovery Notes | The first soil sample was collected adjacent to a sidewalk in a flower bed. There were park benches nearby and a building within a few feet of the spot. The soil was collected at the edge of the flower bed, situated very close to the sidewalk. In terms of appearance, the soil was uniform in color and distribution of composition.
