Naming Notes | The phage was isolated by Celeste E. and Rachel F. and was enriched along with 2 other phage in the flask. When plated we noticed three different morphologies. Our phage was taken from the plate and we isolated it and its DNA, because we could not find our own from our soil samples. We named this phage after the Harry Potter spell "Geminio," which is used to create identical copies of its target. |
