Discovery NotesThe soil was harvested from the grass in front of Bay Hall at the Texas A&M Corpus Christi Campus. The ground was wet because it had rained in the previous 2 hours.
Naming NotesI discovered this phage on my first attempt to isolate a phage from the environment so I used my lucky number 33. This phage was the ghost of lab because it was very temperate. After the 24 hour incubation this phage is like a ghost on the plate. Longer incubation times were required to visualize the phage plaques.
