Discovery Notes | This soil sample was dark brown, slightly moist, was exposed to the sun through a window pane, and had an abundance of perlite in it. It was also extracted three inches from the surface level. |
Naming Notes | Our phage was named based on the soil extracted from Cherish's sunflower plant in her dorm window. Since "Sunflower" was already a registered phage name, we chose "sunflower" in Spanish. |
