| Discovery Notes | This phage was isolated from soil collected in the Montreal Children’s Hospital garden. The initial isolation plate contained multiple plaques of distinct sizes. A single plaque was selected for purification, followed by three rounds of plaque purification. After troubleshooting contamination events observed across the lab cohort, a high-titer lysate was obtained and confirmed by plaque assay. |
| Naming Notes | I named it after the host A. globiformis |

| Plaque Notes | Plaques were generally circular and turbid, exhibiting two reproducible morphologies throughout the purification process: larger diffuse-edged plaques and smaller, well-defined ones. Webbed plates were obtained at 10⁻² dilution during amplification. |
