Discovery Notes | 9/20/2022 at 11:40 AM. Weather was hot, still, and cloudy. Taken from a mulchy soil sample with organic material. Phage was also worked on by James Lin, Kioni Bush, and Danae Youngstedt. |
Naming Notes | Fage is a brand of greek yogurt. Since this name sounds similar to the word "phage", we ran with the pun. Phages cannot be named after brands, so we instead named this phage "GreekYogurt". |
