| Discovery Notes | This phage was discovered from moderate soil during the fall climate in New Jersey. It was found in suburban soil near different berry bushes, trees, and fallen leaves in a shaded and cool area. There is a diversity of flora and fauna in the location of the soil, some of which has been cultivated by the residents of the property from which the soil came from. |
| Naming Notes | This phage was named 'GroovyDhruvy' as it was found near the residence of Dhruv (me), who discovered the phage. Dancing while waiting for agar plates to set and incubate was a fun way to spend time with friends (and the professor) in the lab. This phage was fun to work with, like the person who discovered it! ;) |
