Discovery NotesThis phage was isolated on September 5, 2025, from a soil sample collected under a tree near STLCC Meramec, approximately 2–3 inches below the surface. Following enrichment and spot testing, the phage consistently displayed a clear, lytic plaque morphology on the host bacteria lawn. Lysate Titer was determined by calculation from the spot titer results.
Naming NotesI came up with the name by combining a nickname of mine with my sister's and the last digits of the years we were born in
Sequencing Information
Sequencing Complete?No
Genome length (bp)Unknown
Character of genome endsUnknown

Characterization
ClusterUnclustered
Subcluster--
Lysogeny NotesPresumed virulent/lytic; plaques are clear with no signs of turbid centers. EM image of the phage confirms Podoviridae morphology: icosahedral head with a short or non-visible tail (estimated~60nm head diameter)."

Annotation StatusNot sequenced
Plaque NotesPhage produces small, clear, lytic plaques with sharp edges. High-titer plating showed confluent lysis.
