Discovery NotesPhage Hawkins was isolated from soil collected from Plant to Plate Garden in South Oakland on 9/5/19. The ambient temperature was 71°F (22°C) and the humidity was 59%. The sky was clear and sunny; No precipitation in the previous 24 hours of the time of collection. The soil itself was a dark brown, black color and slightly moist.
