Discovery NotesSoil was collected on 17 January 2017 at 12:42pm from a garden bed outside of Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic. Earlier that morning it had rained, so the soil was moist at time of collection. It was 41 degrees Fahrenheit and cloudy.
Naming NotesThis phage is named after my high school biology teacher, John Kowalski, and my high school microbiology teacher, Paula Herbes. I credit them both for setting me down the path I am on now.
