Discovery NotesThe sample site had very dry soil and it was near a tree on my University's campus. The temperature of the sample site was 13.89°C. It was collected at 12:58 pm on January 30th, 2024.
Naming NotesThe name of our phage comes the names of our two favorite animals. Ari's favorite animal is a Hippopotamus, and Brandon's favorite animal is a Leopard Seal. Combining these names gives us the name, HippoLeopard.
