Discovery NotesHokie was discovered on August 28th 2019, in moist grass next to a sidewalk in front of a row of houses in Blacksburg, VA. The two-tablespoon sample of soil was collected at 2 cm and the temperature was 20°C. The soil itself was dry and crumbly. The environment was at an elevation of 2,190 ft.
