Plaque Notes | When incubated at 35 degrees Celsius for 48 hours, plaques generally are generally around 4 mm in diameter. When the plaques reach higher numbers on a plate, however, their size decreases significantly to closer to 2 mm in diameter. The center of the plaques are clear, but turbidity increases closer to the edges of the plaque. |
