Discovery NotesI gathered dirt out front of my apartment (the Province on the Euclid side Boulder, CO) at 9:12am on 01.21.2025. It was 10℉ outside and I had to dig through about a foot of snow to reach soil which I then gathered and placed in a ziploc bag.
Naming NotesWe decided on Hungryhippo because that was a fun childhood game and our phage eats bacteria. It was the first thing to come to mind.
