Discovery NotesThe soil sample was collected from a well-maintained lawn, situated between a tree and a trash bin. The area was covered with lush, green grass. I dug approximately one inch deep to gather the sample on a sunny afternoon, with the temperature recorded at 69°F. The collection site was located at GPS coordinates 46.86689° N, 96.75581° W.
Naming NotesWe named it IronMike because the phage did not behave typically like the rest of the class.
