Discovery NotesCollected from shaded, rocky, and dry soil at the base of a large pine tree.
Naming NotesInitially tried to name it BabY0da because it is a temperate phage that has the ability to lyse but usually doesn't. It was taken so it was renamed JackJack because of the same reason. It mostly is lysogenic until it lyses a cell.
