Discovery Notes | The soil that this phage was collected from was slightly moist with a sandy consistency. It was collected from about 1-3 inches below the surface of the dirt in a shaded area of a local part. There were a few tufts of grass and weeds growing in this area. |
Naming Notes | The two people who worked on isolating this phage both had names that started with the letter "J," so we decided to name our phage after our first two initials-"JandJ" |
