| Discovery Notes | The sample site was an area adjacent to a creek. The general area is year round moist and the thickness of trees does not allow maximum sunlight. The soil in this area is rich, dark and has a muddy consistency. |

| Plaque Notes | The plaque has one morphology—turbid bull’s eye. The average size sums up to be around 2-3mm. Although the majority of the plaques was circular, some showed an interesting pattern of growth. They exhibited an unfinished process of a cell division. The time required for incubation is 24 hours at 37 ?C. (Note. The circled plaque below is the strain that I eventually isolated and with which I worked) |
