| Discovery Notes | I found the phage by extracting soil from the surface of an area that had decaying leaves, branches, and plants. The phage was very easy to grow and took between 24-48 hours. The plaques were large and easy to see even though it was turbid. I never had trouble purifying or growing the plaques. |
| Naming Notes | The name came from a mountain I hike last summer in Georgia. I hiked over ten mountains that week, but this one was the most biologically diverse one I saw. |
