Discovery NotesThe phage was collected in a small garden in front of Kelly Hall, 205N 34th St, Philadelphia, PA 19104, US (Drexel dormitory hall) on September 23, 2025, at 10:15 PM. During the time of sample collection, it was raining, and the temperature at the time was 21 degrees Celsius. The sample was collected by digging approximately 3 cm deep in the soil. The sample was collected about 10 cm away from the plants.
Naming NotesThe phage was named after the location it was found: Kelly Hall. It was also inspired by the Philadelphia Eagles' Kelly Green uniforms to pay homage to the city's football team.
