Discovery NotesWe gathered our sample on a snowy day near the dense soil from grass between St. Al's church and the Grotto for prayer. The snow hardened the soil and made it difficult to gather a sample with ease. (Especially with a plastic spoon!) It was in January, which is a cold winter in Spokane with a temperature about 28 F
Naming NotesThe name of our phage came from the initials of both Lauren and Katie (the phage discoverer's).
Katie Lauren Aguirre Wagner (KLAW). We added the "The" at the beginning from the Toy Story scene with the salients saying "THE CLAWWWWW" as well.
