Discovery NotesThe soil that Bushra collected was from her potted curry tree plant. Typically, the plant is kept outside where it is watered often, but due to the winter weather the plant was brought inside. She used a latex glove to dig beneath the topsoil and extract dark brown/moist soil from deeper within the plant. The sample contained no rock, but did have some of the plant roots. The bag was sealed tightly and moisture remained in the bag even after being brought to school.
Naming NotesI chose to name my phage "Koopa" because the double rings that it has reminded me of the shell of a Koopa Troopa from Mario.

Plaque NotesPlaque diameter: 1 mm (millimeter
Plaque radius: 0.5 mm

Phage Koopa created small plaques with two rings of clearing. The first ring made up most of the plaque radius, 0.4 mm, and had full clearing with sharp edges. The second ring made up 0.1 mm of the plaque radius, had fuzzy clearing, and non-defined edges.
