Discovery NotesDescription of soil: Wet, but not muddy. More of a small flaky, lightly clumped soil. Felt dry to the tough but looked wet to the eye. Dark brown. Found by native tall grasses under a rock garden. Gathered 1-3 inches below the surface.
Naming NotesThis phage took a long time to appear and create good plaques, but an extra day in the incubator normally brought it to a very obvious state.
