Discovery Notes | Found at 10:03 p.m. on 9/17/24 in students backyard. It was 25 C outside and the student dug 2-3 inches down. The soil was damp, loose, easy to dig with little organic matter. |
Naming Notes | LanceLeaver is a double play on the two lab partners who discovered this phage. Lance is leaving a partner to go to a different major, and the other partner leaves Lance everyday in lab before they finish cleaning up. |
