Discovery NotesThe soil sample was collected 6 cm below the soil surface at 16:29 on September 2, 2024, from the plant pot in the backyard of a residential house, located at 36º4’24’’ N 115 º18’28’’ W. The temperature and humidity were 37 ºC, and 18%, respectively. The characteristics of the soil sample were dry loamy soil, composed of small white stones and small branch fragments, had a dark brown color, and scented like normal dry soil.
Naming NotesThe name was derived by combining the first names of the phage founders, Lanploy Vichanarong and Julian Ibarra.
