Discovery Notes | The soil sample was collected around 6:45PM on September 10th, 2018 by the OC Lot west of Sutherland Hall. The exact coordinates were 40.44501 degrees north and 79.963554 degrees west. The weather around this time was 65 degrees and rainy. The soil was very soft, dark, and a little moist. There were several small plants located by the soil collection site. The soil was stored at room temperature for approximately 20 hours. |
Naming Notes | The name of my bacteriophage was derived from my last name. I added the prefix "lil" to the front since Pablo alone was already taken and since bacteriophages are very small. |

Plaque Notes | The image of the plaque morphology of LilPablo appears to be slightly turbid which would mean the phage was probably going through the lysogenic cycle, but the plaque morphology of LilPablo is actually clearer which means the phage went through the lytic cycle. The size of each plaque was around 2-3mm and the phage was round. |
