Discovery NotesSoil Sample was collected on the Smith College campus on 9/27/17 between 10am and 12noon. Weather was partly cloudy and 720F. Soil sample L was collected in the Lyman Plant House under a table along the walkway. Approximately 1cm deep. Site of Soil Sample. GPS Coordinates: 42.19.70N 72.38.23W. Soil was moist and very dark in color
Naming NotesWe decided to name our phage Persephono because of it came from the underground like where Persephone lives in Greek mythology (but Persephone was taken)
