Discovery Notes | Soil was rocky, wet, and rich in color. The sample was near large rocks at the bottom of a water drainage pathway. Plants of various kinds surrounded the area, including small trees. The area receives lots of water and some intermittent sunlight throughout the day. The soil sample was about 3 inches below the surface. Average tail length was 163 nm and average capsid width was 83 nm. |
