Discovery NotesFound outside the store "Kibbles on Main" in Blacksburg, Virginia. The soil was directly in front of the store. It had a dry texture with some mulch pieces mixed in. The weather was sunny and 70 degrees Fahrenheit.
Naming NotesWhen choosing our phage name, we searched online for synonyms for "long tail" due to our phage's extremely long tail. LongBob popped up as a synonym, and it stuck.
